Jimmy’s Pizza Cafe

As a huge pizza fan, finally visiting Jimmy’s was incredibly exciting. The interior is impressively spacious, the selection of pizza slices is a dream, and the dine-in area offers plenty of room. My first impression of the inside was fantastic.

Now, onto the pizza – it was truly delightful. I couldn’t resist and ended up getting multiple slices to go. I always start with a cheese slice to judge the quality, and it did not disappoint. It was super crispy with a great sauce, light crust, and excellent cheese.

I also tried the burrata/pepperoni, hot honey, and Margherita slices, and each had its own unique deliciousness. I brought my mom along, and she opted for a very unique slice – goat cheese, arugula, and balsamic glaze. Normally, I’m not a fan of “veggie” slices, but this one was incredibly fresh, and all the flavors worked together beautifully.

To top it off, the cashier who took my order was incredibly kind, adding even more to the already great experience. If you’re craving thin slice pizza, make sure to visit here and savor every bite!

I stopped by for a quick slice before heading to the movies, and wow, it was incredibly delicious. They have an extensive display of unique flavor combinations, and it was a tough choice. I didn’t want to get too full before the movie, so I settled for just one slice, but next time, I’ll definitely be trying a few different ones.

I opted for a classic pepperoni slice, and it came out piping hot with gooey cheese and crispy pepperoni. Every bite was bursting with flavor. The fresh and robust tomato sauce, along with the crispy crust, made for a perfect slice. Unlike some New York-style pizza, these slices didn’t flop around, which was a plus. I was also intrigued by their Quattro funghi truffle pizza – who wouldn’t be? Four types of mushrooms and truffle oil? I’ll have to give it a try next time.

My husband and I were regulars at their smaller to-go location, enjoying their fantastic New York-style pizza almost every week. In our opinion, it’s the best New York-style pizza you can find in Chicago, even rivaling some places in NYC. We also loved their beignets, although we’re not sure if they still serve them at the new location.

The new place offers plenty of options and has a much larger kitchen and seating area, along with a wider selection of alcoholic beverages. The servers were friendly, and we’re definitely looking forward to returning for a dine-in experience.

This place could easily have the best New York-style pizza in the city. The slices are enormous, and the whole pies are outstanding. They offer an impressive array of pizza combinations, and you should definitely explore them all. While you can grab a slice, I’d recommend getting a couple of whole pies if you’re dining with a large group. Their pickup counter is consistently well-organized and bustling. Don’t forget to try the white pizza with hot honey on the side – it’s a flavor explosion!

Please be cautious as there are several steps near the front door and by the booths. It’s easy to miss them if you’re not paying attention or have had a bit too much to drink – but hey, no harm done! I won’t deduct any stars for the almost mishap because the NY-style pizza here is absolutely fantastic! The crust is deliciously crispy, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. Don’t miss the spicy goose slice for a unique twist, but the classic sausage and pepperoni options are also excellent. I also tried the vegetarian slice, which was refreshing and packed with juicy goodness, without being mushy. The pizza alone would have made me happy, but they also offer a great selection of beer and a cozy fireplace to complete the experience!
